Natural biotechnology vs. chemical additives

XBEE is a unique fuel technology. This SINGLE product works in ALL liquid hydrocarbon fuels, and at the same treatment dose rate of 1 to 4,000, there is no need to buy multiple fuel additives for different engines or fuel applications. Unlike chemical additives that may become harmful if overdosed or cause damaging emulsions with water, XBEE is free from any chemicals. It is totally safe even if overdosed.

XBEE uses natural enzymes extracted from tree leaves. Enzymes are catalytic proteins that target and alter the molecular structure of hydrocarbons and fuel-derived contaminants. These target molecules are called substrates. Over two dozen plant enzymes are in Yellow Line which provides a wide range of substrate capability. Enzymes have active sites where catalysis is performed. By adjusting their shape, they induce an optimum fit to allow a high-energy transitionary stage known as the enzyme/substrate complex to form.

The substrate’s molecular structure is altered by weakening or cleaving chemical bonds, resulting in smaller molecules called products. The products are then released from the enzymes, which return to their original shape and can catalyze new substrates… The process can be performed up to one million times per second! Smaller fuel molecules atomize better, facilitating a more complete reaction with atmospheric oxygen during combustion. This improves engine efficiency, reducing both fuel consumption and toxic gas emissions.

Practical and adapted to all engines

XBEE is one of the most cost-effective fuel treatments on the market and a very easy-to-use technology: only one product for all fuels, only one ratio of one litre of XBEE to 4,000 litres (or 4 m³) of fuel.

You simply pour XBEE in the storage tank before filling or bunkering. And there you go!
It is important to keep in mind that XBEE is NOT a hazardous product and is NOT subject to any transport or storage regulations (see the MSDS for more information).

XBEE Enzyme Fuel Technology is available from dosing bottles for cars and yachts to jerrycans for tractors, building machines, buses and trucks to drums for fleets of vessels to IBCs for fuel suppliers.

XBEE is safe and warrantied in all engines and all fuels. We also offer all the necessary accessories you may need to facilitate fuel treatment: manual and electronic dosing pumps, fuel analysis services, gas emissions measurements, and more. Feel free to contact us and our team will accompany you in your project and help reduce maintenance costs, gas emissions, and fuel consumption.

FAQ

XBEE has been recognized as “substantially similar to fuels” by the American EPA-Environmental Protection Agency. Moreover, Intertek, Bureau Veritas, Saybolt, and SGS laboratories have all certified that Yellow Line is in compliance with all major international fuel standards:

  • XBEE Kerosene complies with the Jet A-1 standard
  • XBEE Gasoline 95 and 98 complies with the EN 228 standard
  • XBEE Diesel complies with the EN 590 and CAN/CGSB-3.517 standards
  • XBEE Heating Oil complies with the CSR 441 standard
  • XBEE  IFO 380 Heavy Fuel Oil complies with the ISO 8217 standard
  • and much more…

So, yes you can safely use Yellow Line in all engines.

In so far as the packaging is correctly sealed and it is stored in an enclosed, dry area, the product may be kept for two years from the production date without risk of deterioration. As for fuels treated with XBEE, the duration will vary depending on the quality of the fuel, humidity and temperature, and many other parameters. However, it is safe to say that XBEE helps keeping fuels clean over several months of storage.

No, although this enzyme-based biotechnology is very efficient in dispersing organic contaminants in tanks and reservoirs. It contains no dangerous products, no chemicals nor heavy metals.

Overdosing XBEE fuel treatment is not harmful to engines. XBEE complies with all fuel standards as well as the CEC F-23-A-01 diesel engine standard and CEC-F-05-A-93 petrol engine standard. The only possible matter with overdosing XBEE is “wasting” the product. XBEE should be applied at the ratio of 1 to 4,000 to achieve optimum performance and cost-effectiveness.
In cases where the fuel and tank are known to be heavily contaminated, double dosing XBEE at 1 to 2,000 will accelerate tank and fuel cleanup. When recovering heavily contaminated fuel it is important to monitor fuel filtration systems as XBEE can dissolve and dislodge a large volume of sludge quickly. Significantly underdosing XBEE will slow down the engine and fuel system cleaning process and lessen engine efficiency improvements.

No, Yellow Line Enzyme Fuel Technology is not dangerous or hazardous. Its technical specifications (described in the safety data sheet) show that Yellow Line’s flash point is 82°C, i.e. well above the limit for Class II and III flammable products. Yellow Line natural fuel treatment is stored in plastic containers and shipped throughout the world by plane without any constraints.
